LG Mobiles have launched LG COOKIE PEP in India after almost six months of it's launching internationally.This touch screen phone is expected to rule the touch screen phones segment as it's sibling LG KP500(LG Cookie) did.It was launched as a competition for the Samsung Star and was priced very competitively(INR 7500 approx.)
LG Cookie Pep(Pop-Cookie Pep is called as Cookie Pop internationally) bears the model number GD510 and is aimed at the youth.Cookie Pep is a cool looking phone which has the potential to attract touch screen lovers.It is light weighted and has a sleek design making it very compact.

Cookie Pep has a 3 inch WQVGA full touch screen with a single back lit button that functions as menu and cancel button depending on the mode.It has fun graphical interface with pocket apps like live cricket simulation and easy access to social networking sites such as facebook,myspace,twitter and fun user interface.Though it has complaints about the battery it had good sales.
